Rachel Rosenberg felt out of place growing up in the suburbs of Detroit. Her true passion was Art and Fashion, and she knew that NYC was where she needed to be. She had limited financial resources, but with the help of her former grade school Art teacher, she compiled a portfolio that got her a full scholarship to pursue her dreams.
After graduating at the top of her class, she achieved her then dream job, becoming the Head Buyer and Merchandiser at an upscale chain of boutique sports and exercise apparel stores in NYC and the Hamptons. Through her diligence she had achieved so much, her artwork even was hanging in the mayor's mansion! However, her ultimate desire for financial freedom and quality of life was hampered under the restraints of her career at the time. So, she decided to return to her Midwest roots, this time Chicago, where she secured a job in finance. With no formal education specific to commercial lending to speak of, but a drive that was unmatched, she soon worked her way to the top ultimately becoming a Vice President. She became one of the company’s top salespeople nationally, was tapped to provide others with teaching and training and responsibility to open new markets. Rachel continued working in the commercial lending arena, now the breadwinner of the family with 3 small children. In 2006 she was introduced to a health and wellness line of products through a close family member. She was asked to become a brand ambassador for the products, now assuming another vehicle to invest in others in addition to lending, while focusing on empowering people’s well-being, both physically and mentally. In true form, she then took this “side hustle” to the next level, earning the title of Regional Vice President. In 2015, Rachel, who is now a divorced mother of three amazing teenagers, experienced personal tragedy incurring a life-threatening traumatic brain injury in a snowboard accident. With a prognosis of recovery of 60% at best, she was determined to survive and regain what was lost. Under the care and rehabilitation of a holistic Neurologist and with her 80-year-old father at her side, she worked tirelessly and diligently for over 18 months, relearning basic life skills, ultimately regaining what was lost. Through her lifelong experiences Rachel knows the ultimate valuable lesson here. That is, in spite of what may seem like insurmountable obstacles and setbacks, the biggest blessings can come into your life through it all. Determined to share her life stories, bring hope to others, encourage perseverance, while instilling courage and resilience, she continues to speak, coach and train throughout the U.S. and internationally. |
